Immanuel Isaiah 7:13-16 (Holman Christian Standard Bible) 13 Isaiah (A) said, “Listen, house of David! Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men? Will you also try the patience of my God? (B) 14 Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you [a] a sign: The virgin will conceive, [b] have [...]

The Best Gift: The Holy Spirit
But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day. (Deu 8:18 KJV)
Christmas is coming! What more can we be thankful for? Well, I know one gift that is given to us and it is given to us for free. That is God’s gift! On the day that Jesus died on the cross it was God who displayed His awesome power by raising His son Jesus from the grave. God loved Jesus so much and because Jesus did everything God told him. Jesus didn’t make God, his Father, happy by his own power alone. Even Jesus himself received the gift of the Holy Spirit that he could do God’s will on the earth; and he started right at home with Mom and Dad. God’s gift of the Holy Spirit is part of the many riches that God has. His gifts and riches have no end. Now, His gifts are not the toys we think; though he allows us to get toys and gifts here on earth. He gives us power and strength that we shall not be disobedient in His eyes. That means, to every person we act just like Jesus did by love, compassion, mercy, and obedience. Isn’t that wonderful! When you love Jesus, you love God also , because Jesus was God. God’s gift is a toy that never breaks, it never gets old, and it’s always fun. God’s gift shows how much he loves you and me. We are so precious to him. Since, we are so precious to him; as we are to Dad and Mom. How much more should we love Him like he loves us. Php_4:19 ; Joh_14:21; Joh_14:16-18; Joh_3:16
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. (Eph 2:4-10 GLB)

Veiled Hearts
Veiled Hearts
2 Corinthians 3:12-18 (New King James Version) 12 Therefore, since we have such hope, we use great boldness of speech— unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
